Ok so I posted ( unusually on Facebook ) about my favorite place ( one of ) on Dartmoor. This being the Tavy Cleave area, just up from the Lanes End car park ( SX 53712 82384 ) …PLEASE NOTE this area is an active firing range. PLEASE check the times that the MoD are using the range. They actually own this part of Dartmoor ( the only bit they actually own ). They make full use of it!
My personal favourite view point is from Ger Tor ( SX 54801 83107 ) looking across from Ger Tor to Tavy Cleave.
